Abstrak: Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) yang merupakan hasil penggabungan tiga bank besar berbasis syariah dan diresmikan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 diharapkan menjadi energi barubagi perekonomian Indonesia, khususnya dalam mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan profitabilitas/laba. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak positif pandemi Covid-19 terhadap laba BSI KC Balikpapan Sudirman 1. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan merumuskan dan menafsirkan data sehingga memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap laba perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandemi Covid-19 tidak mempengaruhi laba bersih BSI KC Balikpapan Sudirman 1. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian terhadap laba BSI KC Sudirman 1 dimana adanya peningkatan laba bersih pada tahun 2020 sebesar 33,60% dibandingkan laba tahun sebelumnya.

Abstract: Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), which is the result of a merger of three large sharia-based banks and was inaugurated during the Covid-19 pandemic, is expected to become new energy for the Indonesian economy, especially in maintaining and even increasing profitability/profit. The purpose of this study is to determine the positive impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on profits of BSI KC Balikpapan Sudirman 1. The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive analysis by formulating and interpreting data so as to provide a clear picture of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on company profits. Research results shows that the Covid-19 pandemic did not affect the net profit of BSI KC Balikpapan Sudirman 1. This can be seen from the results of research on the profits of BSI KC Sudirman 1 where there was an increase in net profit in 2020 of 33.60% compared to the previous year's profit.
